At Vasilias (weddings in Cyprus) we are able to hold Anglican and Catholic weddings. Either can take place in our beautiful courtyard. Civil ceremonies will need to take place at either Geroskipou or Paphos Town Hall.
Geroskipou: You can hold your civil ceremony at Geroskipou; a small village approximately 10 minutes drive from Vasilias making this an ideal location. The civil ceremony can be held outside under a beautiful awning. (15 mins - 17km)
Paphos Town Hall: Civil ceremonies can be held at the Town Hall in Paphos. These are held within the beautiful elegant Georgian-columned amenity. The gardens offer beautiful photo opportunities. (20mins - 21km)
St Pauls Pillar (Ayia Kyriaki church) in Paphos: Set on an ancient site dating back to the Roman period, the site and church offer both immense historical significance and a beautiful setting for either Anglican or Catholic weddings. (20mins - 20km)
The personal touch
Why not complete your special day with a ceremony personally tailored for you?
After the legal Registration of your marriage, we conduct a Celebration of Marriage at Vasilias with your personal choices of promises, vows and readings.
Celebrating an anniversary? We can offer the same service, with appropriate words and readings for your day.
If you do not wish to marry, or are a couple of the same sex, we offer a ceremony of commitment which can be either a personal time for you both or a celebration with friends and family.
You will be presented with a booklet and certificate commemorating your special day at the beautiful venue of Vasilias
Sandi and Carmella have both worked for the Registration Service in England and are well qualified to offer you and your guests the celebration of a lifetime.
Please refer to our website www.cypruscivilceremonials.com for further information.
For all ceremony bookings we ask you to contact the relevant parties. Please note that for both Catholic and Anglican weddings a civil ceremony needs to take place prior.
Beautiful Cypriot Weddings.
